10 mos...11 mos already!!

I don't know where the time has gone, all of a sudden Carson is 11 months and walking!!

He walks everywhere now, acting so cool! He loves playing with his cars and pushing them all around the living room. Him and Rocky are besties and follow each other around. The other night Rocky was chewing one of Carson's toys and Carson was sitting up against him chewing a piece of the toy too! He got so mad when I took the toy out of his mouth!

Going on a wagon ride! Shane's mom got this wagon from a lady she works for who's had it in her basement for like 20 years! Its real wood and looks brand new!

 

  

Also Shane thought this was a cookie today. Apparently something shaped like a bone and wrapped in bacon looks like a cookie, not a dog treat! He was going to eat it! Too bad Maw Maw stopped him.

 

Happy Valentines Day!

We had Liam and Marisa over for a Valentine photo shoot! It is getting harder and harder to take pictures of these boys! They just want to play and chew on things and do everything but get their picture taken, imagine that!

This is the best I could get of my monster son.

We decided he looks like he's trying to be a fancy model in this one haha

 Of course he wants to eat the balloon...

One picture of them actually playing kind of nice together, even though Carson is hogging all the hearts...I'm sure right after this one of them pushed or bit the other one haha

We had a lot better luck with Liam, he got a lot of good pictures, here is one of my favorites of him, looking outside waiting for his Valentine!

There was one other good one of Carson, I'm sending out late Valentines so keep an eye on your mailbox!!

9 months!

Weight: 22 lbs 15oz. Length: 29 1/4 in. He's in 88th percentile! Big Boy!!! 

Sleeping: Pretty much sleeping through the night consistently. 1 good nap a day.

Eating: Eats everything! I can't think of anything he doesn't like! He loves scrambled eggs, but he broke out around his mouth last time he ate them so I think he might be allergic, we'll try them again when he's a year old. Loves grilled cheese, any veggies or fruit. He's a monster eater! He is getting really good at feeding himself.

Favorite Toys: Lately he's into his animal book that has fuzzy animals in it he can touch. He loves the cat and dog page. He's really into crawling all over Rocky like a jungle gym. Loves Scout. 

Accomplishments: Took 4 steps on his own!! Of course I was at work :( Very persistent when trying to walk. He falls down and gets right back up and tries again so fast haha he's getting so close!

Places He Went: Same old places, mall, Target, Walmart...

New Words: Saying Dada all the time and Nana. Says Gi Gi when he sees Winnie. What's weird is that Winnie hardly ever comes out, but he loves her so much and gets so excited! She is the first one he consistently says Gi Gi to when he sees her, so I assume that is how he is trying to say kitty. He doesn't associate any other words he says with anyone else.

Cardboard house

We bought Carson a big boy car seat last weekend which should last him for a long time (up to 100 lbs!) and we had the huge box sitting in the living room begging for me to make something out of it! After Monster went to sleep I got out my paint and got to work creating a dream home! After I was done and felt very accomplished and proud I realized he is only 10 months old. He probably won't even play with it right!! So I guess, I made it for my own enjoyment. The next morning when he woke up I was sill pretty excited to show him even if he only used it for a chew toy. To my surprise, he was really excited and crawled right in it and opened and closed the door, looked out the windows, he even brought his favorite toy, a fire truck, inside which I think was like him moving in. All week he had been playing in it and I am one happy mommy that my hard work was well worth it!

8 months!

8 months! I can't believe Carson will be 1 year in a few short months!

I was so busy with Christmas, etc. I didn't get a chance to weigh or measure him.

HE FINALLY GOT A TOOTH!!! He actually has two now!

Sleeping: Pretty much sleeps through the night. Wakes at about 5 or 6 then back to sleep until 7:30 a.m. Takes 1 or 2 naps a day.

Eating: I basically give him bites of whatever we are eating. He likes turkey, chicken, mashed potatoes, LOVES macaroni and cheese from KFC.

Favorite Toys: Loves his play table, turns the music on and dances. Likes little things he can chew on since he is finally getting teeth!

New Discoveries: Winnie. He loves chasing her around! Necklaces, he loves chewing on it and looking at it when I have one on. 

Accomplishments: Crawls like a little monkey! Cruises around the couch holding on. Has stood on his own for a few seconds. Seems to understand when we say NO! He will turn around and look at us then try it a few more times before going on to something else. Pulls his toys out of the bins to play on his own. Waved bye bye once, maybe it was a coincidence? I don't know if this is an accomplishment, but if he doesn't get his way he gets pretty mad haha! Dances like crazy! If hears music he just has to dance, he can't help it!

Places he went: Tanglewood lights, saw Santa, walked around other light displays, Christmas eve party at Grandma's!

New Friends: Winnie

New Words: says Mama and baba all the time, never days Dada! haha

Vacuum lover.

Carson loves when Shane vacuums. He follows him all around the house, circling the vacuum and squealing!

Liam and Carson finally got to see each other after the holidays to play with all their new toys! Carson was in a bad mood and when he first saw Liam he started crying and Liam thought it was pretty funny. It was fun seeing them play together now that they are both crawling around. Each of them will be playing with their own toy then see the other one's toy and try to steal it! Usually Liam is the one trying to bite Carson, this time Carson went right up to Liam and pushed his forehead and knocked him over! It was so funny. Liam didn't even care he just laid there. They played for about 2 hours then it was nap time and they went home. 

Eat like a big boy!!

We started giving Carson whatever we have for dinner and so far he really likes everything!
